Нови медали за България, при това много – общо 18 спечелени на Европейското първенство по Шотокан Карате-До, което се проведе преди две седмици в Нюрнберг, Германия.
На какво се дължи големия успех и как се става шампион, разказаха три от най-добрите ни състезателки в този спорт пред репортера на Нова телевизия Виолета Асенова.
Според състезателката Надежда Младенова, Шотокан Карате-До е начин да възпиташ младото поколение на качества, които са нужни на едни млад човек в живота – самодисциплина, воля за победа, уважение и толерантност към противника.
Бетина Батаклиева е на 21-на години. Състезател и интструктор в Спортен Клуб „Ипон”. От 2002-ра година започва да тренира Шотокан Крате-до предимно за самозащита.
България спечели общо седем златни, четири сребърни и седем бронзови медала в индивидуалните дисциплини на Европейското първенство в Нюрнберг. В общото класиране страната ни е на 2-ро място от 25 държави. Две от златните отличия завоюваха сестрите Борислава и Адриана Ганеви.
Сестрите Адриана и Борислава са от Плевен, но живеят в София. И двете са многократни европейски и световни шампионки.
На Европейското първенство в Нюрнберг, българският отбор отново доказа не само, че е постоянен и градивен в развитието си, а и че е сред най-добрите в света. Горд от този факт е Димитър Тодоранов, който пое поста национален треньор преди 6 години.
Според националния селекционер много по-лесно да си треньор, когато си бил състезател и си изживял всичко – както победите, така и загубите.
Димитър Тодоранов, който е първият български шампион по карате сподели, че винаги намира време да спортува.
